Second Prize in the 2000 International Chamber Music Competition in St.Petersburg, Russia.
In 2003 she was a prize winner of the Tuesday Scholarship Musical Competition in Akron, Ohio.
February 2004 she won the First Prize of the Elizabeth Harper Vaughn Concerto Competition. As a winner she preformed with the Symphony of the Mountains in Kingsport, TN in 2005.
In 2004 she went to the Eighth Annual Hellam Young Artists' Competition in Springfield, Missouri and won Third Prize.
In 2005 she won a prize of the Firelands Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition and as a winner she preformed with the Firelands Orchestra.
In March 2006 Maria won the Second Prize of the Lima Young Artists Competition, Ohio.
In 2009 Trio La Vita (Maria, Carrie Pierce and Misuzu Tanaka) won the John Ireland Prize, the Jeremy Rutenberg Prize, and the Melpomene Prize at the 2009 Joan and Daniel Rutenberg International Chamber Music Competition, University of South Florida School of Music, Florida.
Maria has also performed in concert halls throughout Russia, Europe, and the United States of America.
